Mini Missions is a SA-MP based server for GTA San Andreas running since 2008. The server was originally founded by MID, who created the first version of what would become one of SA-MP's most unique server concepts — short, fast-paced missions that cycle automatically, keeping every session fresh and exciting.
After 2 seasons (s1, s2) of the original MM, a remake was created by Redirect_Left as Son of Mini-Missions (soMM) in 2009. This version carried on the spirit of the original while introducing new features and missions.
After both versions went offline in 2010, the server was recreated in 2011 by FuTuRe along with MID's permission as Mini-Missions: FTW v1 (For the Win). The server started out small with a limited script, but was upgraded constantly. During 2012 the server saw its playerbase growing bigger each day, and more quality missions were being made by the community.
Halfway through 2014, FuTuRe decided to pass the server to Vince0789, co-owner at the time, due to losing interest. However, he returned in 2015 working on another new version of Mini-Missions which came online not much later.
2016 was a difficult year for the server with shifts to a new owner twice. Kylesmith stepped in as a new owner while FuTuRe resigned for good, then the server was passed on to Beremix several months later. In September 2019, the server was passed once again to Redirect_Left for a short time.
In July 2020, the server was passed over to a brand new set of owners keen to make an impact. aQuaNight, King_Bert and Sasuke_Uchiha with the help of Swift acquired the server with the intent of splitting workload, making the server fun, and using their knowledge as active players with a helpful admin team to make it the best it could be.
Over the years, Mini Missions evolved from a handful of race maps to a server with over 300 different missions based on multiple gamemodes including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Race, Parkour, Zombie Survival, Derby, Bombing, and many more creative modes.
The server grew to include a full economy system, betting, 120+ achievements, 100+ titles, 200+ toys, clans, mini-games, a leveling system with 100 levels, and deep Discord integration.
By this point, the other owners had moved on, leaving Sasuke_Uchiha alongside Swift to carry the server forward. As the SA-MP platform aged, they made the decision to transition Mini Missions to Open.MP (open.mp) — an open-source successor that maintains compatibility while offering improved performance, security, and modern features. The server now runs as Mini Missions v16 on the Open.MP platform.
Mini Missions continues to evolve with new missions, features, and improvements. The server runs 24/7 at mm-ftw.net:7777 and welcomes both new and returning players. With its unique fast-paced mission format, comprehensive progression systems, and active community, the future looks bright.
